We’ve Got You Covered
Still need help? Send us an emailYes! Although we specialize in specialty medications, we also provide resources for non-specialty medications included in foundation assistance programs and copay card programs.
When you fill out the filters in Omediq, we’ll match you with the most relevant programs based on your information. We take the guesswork out of the process for you.
Manufacturer Copay Cards
Manufacturer copay cards are savings programs offered directly by the pharmaceutical company that makes your medication. They help reduce your out-of-pocket costs for brand-name prescriptions. These cards are typically available only to patients with commercial or private insurance and cannot be used with government insurance programs such as Medicare or Medicaid.
Foundation Assistance Funding
Foundation assistance comes from independent nonprofit organizations that provide financial support to patients based on their specific medical condition. This funding may help cover copays, insurance premiums, travel expenses, or other treatment-related costs. Availability depends on each foundation’s resources—programs may open or close throughout the year as funding levels change.
Patient Assistance Program (PAP)
Ongoing free or low-cost medication from the manufacturer for patients who qualify based on income and insurance.

The Assistance Fund (TAF) does not place a fixed cap on how much assistance you may receive once approved, unless otherwise stated. Additionally, unlike other programs that often have a 12-month enrollment period, TAF follows a calendar year enrollment. This means your coverage lasts through December 31 of the current year, no matter when your approval starts.
If you create an account with Omediq, you can save your searches and sign up for email or text alerts. We will notify you as soon as a matching fund becomes available.
No additional steps are required through Omediq after you apply. We’re here to help you find funding. Once you’re matched, the next steps happen with the funding organization or pharmaceutical company and pharmacy directly. However, we’d really appreciate it if you completed our quick survey to let us know if you received funding. This will help us improve our support.
Email and text notifications in Omediq are specific to Foundation Programs. With foundation programs opening and closing so quickly and often throughout the year, the alerts are there to help you capture funding as soon as a fund becomes available.
